Wolfburn Batch #318 Small Batch Release Single Malt
I have had several versions of Wolfburn and enjoyed them all. If you like peated whisky you should try this version of Wolfburn. It is on the mid to lower end of peatyness, so it won't smack you in the face with a mouth full of smoke. There are layers of flavor that only a slow sip will reveal with great finish of dried fruits and crackle of campfire smoke.
Hidden Gem Found
I was not sure what to expect with the #318 Release. I must say that the profile and finish are wonderful. The complement of heat, light smoke and spice make this a perfect sipper with a robusto.
