The Glenlivet 15 Year Old French
Nose - Creamy, rich, buttery, Palate - Fruit and nut. I really liked
Interesting, complex Glenlivet
Unusually complex 15yr Glenlivet. French oak leaves a thin flavor profile, smooth, no oily mouth feel. Almonds, citrus peels, caramel crisp flavors.
Glenlivet 15 year
Definitely a good scotch to add to your collection.
Glenlivit 15: 15 out of 15
50 ml is not a lot to get a sense of a Scotch, but this portion did suffice to show a nicely-balanced combination of peat and smoke in a drink that went down smooth, without burn.
Smooth as a babies.....
I was thrilled to get a sample of GL 15 with my purchase. I hadn't tried the French Oak before and was blown away with how smooth it was. Definitely will add it to my drink rotation.
Nice bridge
If you are newer to exploring scotch this makes a nice bridge into the world of single malts.
Not a scotch guy but if I were…
I’m no expert with scotch, in fact I know nothing but I did try and enjoy the Glenilet.
