Amazing taste!
It took a little bit for me to really get the complexity of this bourbon, but now I absolutely love it. Can really taste the grains in this one. Smooth finish with a hint of fresh cut grass right before it rains. Definitely a drinker.

Fantastic at this price
I love the story of this brand being farm to bottle. But I love the whiskey even more. The Rye is also very very good. If you can snag a bottle of select single barrel at the higher proof you'll love it even more. But at 90 proof this one is an amazing sipper. Smooth and tasting aged beyond its actual years in the barrel, this is now my go too daily whiskey.
Nice daily sipper
There aren’t many distilleries doing what the folks at Frey Ranch are doing, going all their own grains. The result is a very well put together four grain bourbon which tastes more mature than its age. This may take some acclamation for some, but if you give this one some time, you’ll be rewarded with a solid everyday sipper that reminds me in some ways of Russell's Reserve 10Y. Also, this actual bottle (and super heavy, metal stopper) are an added bonus.
