Islay Classic
I am not a peated whisky drinker, but on a visit to the Ardberg distillery in 2023, I tried Ardberg’s “An Oa” offering. Since then I have kept a bottle in my cabinet and not only offer it to guests but enjoy it myself from time to time. If you are not a fan of peat, try this version; you will be surprised!
An Oa
If you love the smokey peaty flavors of Ardbeg Sotch as much as I do then you"ll love this one.
Like being at a campfire in the mountains
Lovely smoky taste, wish it were deeper.
Delicious Isle Scotch
Great combo of sweet sherry and heavy smoke. Salty, oily and unctuous. Beautiful expression of the bold nautical flavors that come from an Isle Scotch.
A solid peat forward scotch
I prefer the An OA to the 10 year Ardbeg due to its wider flavor profile. A touch on the hot side but still a solid choice for an evening sipper.
