Tequila Herradura Blanco is a bold, unaged tequila from Amatitán, Jalisco, Mexico, bottled at a lively 46% ABV. Made from 100% blue Weber agave, it skips the brief oak rest often used for Herradura Silver, allowing its vibrant lowland character to shine with desert earth, wet hay, cooked vegetables, grapefruit pith, tangerine oil, and a wisp of smoldering ash.
Sweet agave nectar and spiced orange marmalade open the palate before bitter chocolate, green pepper, chili, lime zest, menthol, and cucumber take over. Its mineral, grapefruit-tart finish is long and coating, with a delicate chayote note. Enjoy neat, over a large cube, or in a sharply built Margarita.
