Stemmari Vermentino Sicilia is a Sicilian white made from Vermentino grown in the coastal areas of western Sicily. The importer’s technical sheet describes deep, loamy soils and an early harvest completed in the cool morning hours. After crushing and destemming, the grapes are gently pressed under low-oxygen conditions; the clarified must ferments at a controlled 16°C for 10 days, and the wine rests on its lees for three months. Stemmari describes a straw-yellow color with greenish highlights. White flowers and cut grass open the aroma profile before developing into riper pineapple and mango notes. The palate is medium-bodied, persistent, fresh, and balanced through the finish.
