Stemmari Grillo Sicilia DOC 750ml is a Sicilian white wine made from Grillo grown around Acate in the province of Ragusa. Stemmari describes sandy, sloping terrain with abundant sunlight as the variety’s preferred setting. The grapes reach maturity around the second week of September, then undergo harvesting, destemming, pressing, natural settling, and temperature-controlled fermentation over several days. The wine matures on its lees for several months in stainless steel, adding texture and complexity without an oak-aging claim. This single 750ml bottle is 13% ABV / 26 proof.
In the glass, Stemmari describes a deep straw-yellow color and a distinctly tropical bouquet led by mango and papaya, with jasmine and white-flower accents.
