This 10-year-old single malt from Springbank was initially matured for seven years in ex-bourbon barrels before being finished for three years in first-fill Pedro Ximenez hogsheads. Aromas of date syrup, raisins, sherry-soaked fruit, walnuts and oaky vanilla fill the nose, complemented by notes of cola cubes, cherry, cinnamon, caramel, mint, damp earth and oil nuts throughout the palate and lingering in the finish.
