R6 Distillery The Lost Abbey Rye Whiskey Limited Release brings R6 Distillery together with The Lost Abbey Brewing Company for a one-time brewery collaboration. R6’s collaboration program begins with a jointly developed brew, which is distilled into whiskey and matured in deliberately selected barrels. This release is finished in wheat and single-malt whiskey barrels, then bottled in El Segundo, California at 43% ABV / 86 proof in a 750 mL bottle.
Rye spice provides the foundation, accompanied by vanilla, fig, and green apple. The collaboration brew contributes honey, wheat, and hop accents, while the finishing barrels add another layer to the rye-led profile. Soft apple and honey lead into fresh rye-and-wheat spice, balancing fruit and sweetness against the grain’s firmer character. The bottle carries both the R6 Distillery and The Lost Abbey Brewing Company names, along with the limited-release designation, making the brewery partnership an integral part of the expression rather than a separate package treatment.
