The Red Carmignano DOCG The Farnete Pierazzuoli is born from the selection of the best Sangiovese (80%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (20%). The grapes are fermented separately in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, as they have different aging times. After malolactic fermentation, made of steel, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon are blended and placed to mature in French oak barrels of medium-aged for a minimum of eight months. After bottling, the Carmignano remains in bottle for a further eight months.
