Olivier Leflaive Corton Clos du Roi Grand Cru 2023 is a 100% Pinot Noir from the Corton Grand Cru appellation in Aloxe-Corton, Burgundy. The Clos du Roi parcel sits at 270–320 meters with south, southeast, and east exposure, protected by the Bois de Corton. Its Bathonian limestone, iron-rich marl, and 30-year-old vines shape a structured red Burgundy. Fruit for the 2023 vintage was sorted after harvest, then fermented as whole berries in open vats for 16 days.
The wine matured for 16 months, including four months in stainless steel followed by time in oak barrels, with 25% new oak.
