Meletti Limoncello is an Italian lemon liqueur from the Adriatic Coast, bottled at 30% ABV and 60 proof. Meletti combines alcohol, sugar and lemon peel, using selected lemons from Sorrento's coastal groves. This listing is for one 750 mL bottle.
The lemons are harvested in mid-October and quickly brought to the distillery. The result is a pure citrus liqueur without coloring or stabilizing additives. Aromas and flavors of fresh lemon lead the profile, with a rich, full mouthfeel and a sweetness that rounds the fruit without making the citrus taste harsh. The finish stays bright, clean and distinctly lemon-driven.
Serve well chilled after a meal, pour it over ice, or lengthen it with sparkling water or sparkling wine for a simple spritz. It can also add concentrated lemon character to citrus-forward cocktails or accompany fruit desserts. Store the bottle upright in a cool, dark place and chill before serving.
