Joseph Colin is cut from the same serious Burgundy winemaking cloth as his father and older brother, Marc Colin and Pierre Yves Colin-Morey respectively. Joseph has not only inherited some of the most valuable parcels of land on earth from his father, he also tends to these valuable vineyards as if they were from his own secret garden. There is almost no one who knows the secrets of these rocks and vines to the caliber that Joseph does. He can not make it more plain when he states, “I want to deliver rocks and terroir in the glass…”
Comes from one of the coldest, rockiest sites in St. Aubin from vines over 70 years in age. This site is harvested about a month later than the other sites.
