These special barrels are getting a second life as aged rum that will never be recreated again. The all fresh cane juice, 100% pot still rum was double distilled in 2012 in Trinidad, tropically aged in ex-cognac casks for 4 years, then spent 6 years in ex-bourbon in the UK before being bottled in New York State.
