Using barley that was grown, malted, and smoked at the Corsair farm in Tennessee, this is a hickory-smoked malt whiskey that showcases the benefits of “grain to glass.” The palate is nice and smokey, but also shows notes of butterscotch and caramel and a pleasant sweetness scented by the oak. A spicy finish is tempted with notes of molasses and, of course, more delicious smoke.
