Cierto Reserve Collection Añejo Tequila (750ml) is made at Tequileña in Jalisco from 100% Blue Weber agave grown on a single estate in Los Altos. The agave is cooked in a low-pressure autoclave, extracted by roller mill, fermented in stainless steel with natural spring water, and distilled twice in copper pot stills. Cierto matures this Reserve Collection expression for 18 months in French Limousin oak before bottling it at 40% ABV / 80 proof.
The producer describes aromas of caramelized agave, wet oak, chocolate, and toffee. Butterscotch and vanilla lead the palate, followed by dark cherry, chocolate, and a measured touch of spice. Roasted agave returns through a bright finish with a lingering smoky note, keeping the mature oak character connected to the tequila's agave base. The silver Reserve Collection label and tall fluted 750ml bottle distinguish this Añejo from Cierto's Private Collection and from the Reserve Collection Blanco and Extra Añejo expressions. Pour it neat in a tequila glass to follow the progression from roasted agave and oak to fruit, chocolate, and spice.
