Château d'Esclans Rock Angel Rosé 2022 3L is a Côtes de Provence rosé produced from Grenache, Cinsault, Rolle (Vermentino), and Syrah. Grapes come primarily from Château d'Esclans vineyards, supplemented by selected sites around the Esclans Valley and nearby parts of the appellation. Estate fruit is harvested in the morning and sourced fruit at night to retain freshness. The grapes are optically sorted, softly crushed, cooled, and pressed in a closed circuit to limit oxidation. This 2022 release is one 3 L bottle at 13.5% ABV / 27 proof.
Vinification uses primarily temperature-controlled 600-liter oak demi-muids alongside stainless-steel tanks, followed by twice-weekly bâtonnage over six months before bottling. Château d'Esclans characterizes Rock Angel as structured, bold, and more complex than Whispering Angel, with a mineral profile and the added flavor contribution of barrel time. The house recommends serving it at 8–12°C. The large-format bottle retains Rock Angel's winged label and pale Provence rosé presentation.
