Barbera D'Asti with great personality, takes its name from the “Pianoalto” farmhouse owned by the Bava family: the sign of the brick sunscreen on the barn is shown on the label. Ruby red in color with garnet reflections, it offers aromas of ripe red fruit to the nose, with notes of blackberries, black cherries and plums followed by good and light aromas of tobacco, menthol and vanilla. In the mouth it is concentrated and powerful, with a persistent, slightly tannic and well-structured finish, with qualities of pleasant freshness. It goes perfectly with savory first courses, main courses of meat typical of Piedmontese cuisine and aged cheeses.
