1924 Double Black Red Blend 2024 is a full-bodied California red blend from Lodi, made with fruit selected from vineyards across Northern California. Warm afternoons and cooling Pacific-influenced nights help build concentrated flavor, while the 2024 Limited Edition bottle presents the wine at 15% ABV.
The aroma layers blackberry, mocha, caramel, and vanilla. On the palate, plum and dark chocolate meet toasted marshmallow and allspice, creating a dark, generous profile with a smooth, lingering finish. The balance of ripe fruit, oak-toned richness, and baking spice gives this blend its Double Black character.
Pour it at a cool room temperature and allow a little air in the glass before serving. The producer suggests charbroiled burgers, spicy sausage gumbo, or barbecue pork ribs as suitably bold pairings.
