Gift for hubby. He said one of the best he has had!
Dynamite Flavor
This is my first Campbeltown Single Malt and it did not disappoint. Alcohol hits your palette immediately. Then the Vanilla and bourbon Flavor come through on the tongue. Being a Campbeltown Single Malt you will be missing any real smoke, but the flavor is a really nice change. A bit pricey at LoveScotch but the delivery was efficient and on time.
Glen Scotia
The package came very well wrapped in peanuts and secure. Shipping was on schedule. The scotch is very smooth but strong. This 18 years old scotch to me is best sipped with ice and little cold water mixed. This makes a great addition to anyone’s bar or collection.
Instant Classic
This self-proclaimed "Classic Campbeltown Malt" is just that. I've loved Glen Scotia distillery and its products ever since I was fortunate enough to visit them in fall of 2017. The Glen Scotia 18-Year-Old is one of their best offerings yet, and goes immediately to my top shelf. It's delightfully pungent on the nose, surprisingly mellow on the tongue, but with a perky bite. Though it's a standard 46% ABV, its short, slow legs suggest something very close to cask strength, and that power comes through in the sipping. Highlights of caramel and spice provide a tasting adventure. Highly recommended.
