Henderson is well known for having developed Jack Daniels and Woodford Reserve whiskeys during his career at commercial distiller Brown \u0026amp; Forman.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\" class=\"rtecenter\"\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\" class=\"rtecenter\"\u003e\u003cimg src=\"https:\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0572\/2338\/1151\/files\/catskilldistillingcompany-stills_480x480.jpg?v=1672949201\" alt=\"\"\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3 style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\" class=\"rtecenter\"\u003eThe Stills\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"\u003eThe water is from the Catskill Mountains, and the New York-grown grains, purchased at a nearby mill, are returned as mash and fed to local farm animals. From the locally grown grains to fruit from local orchards and botanicals grown on site, the Catskill Distillery embodies the spirit of the farm distillery and demonstrates a strong commitment to the local agricultural community.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"\u003eThe themes of history, art, music and community run through the activities not only of the distillery, but of its siblings the Dancing Cat Saloon and the Stray Cat Gallery, which opened across the street in spring of 2013. The Woodstock legacy of the area is reflected in the names of the distillery’s spirits, from Peace Vodka to Most Righteous Bourbon.
